Plans & pricing
What's included in the monthly price?
Everything: the six AI-designed postcards each month, editing, printing, postage, USPS delivery, and response tracking. There are no setup fees and no design fees. The only charges beyond your plan are explicit overages you approve first — extra addressed pieces at $2 each, or Neighborhood homes beyond your included allotment.
Which plan should I pick?
Have a customer list (past jobs, leads, regulars)? Start with Residence ($199/mo) — mailing people who know you is the highest-response mail there is. No list, but strong local walk-in or service-area business? Neighborhood ($349/mo) blankets the homes around you. Want both motions every month, Complete ($549/mo).
Can I skip a month?
You never have to send. Six fresh cards appear each month either way, and unused allotment doesn't roll over. If you need a longer pause, you can cancel online anytime and come back — your brand and history are kept.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Plan & billing → Manage subscription opens your secure billing portal, where cancellation is one click — online, no email or phone call required. Your plan stays active through the period you've already paid for.
The postcards
Where do the designs and words come from?
From your website. We read your services, offers, voice, colors, and logo, and write each card specifically for your business. Real offers only — if a discount appears on a card, it came from your site or from you. You can edit anything by hand or describe a change in plain English and let the card rework itself.
What sizes are the cards?
Addressed cards (your own list) are classic 4″ × 6″ postcards sent First-Class. Neighborhood cards are jumbo 6.5″ × 9″ — physically bigger than nearly everything else in the mailbox that day.
Do recipients see their name on the card?
Addressed cards do — each one greets its recipient by first name (“Hi Sarah,”). Neighborhood cards go to every household unaddressed, so they skip the greeting and open straight into your message.
Delivery
How long until my cards arrive?
Addressed cards: most land within about a week of sending. Neighborhood mailings: printing takes up to about a week, then USPS typically delivers across the following 7–14 days. Rule of thumb: plan Neighborhood sends 2–3 weeks ahead of anything date-sensitive.
How do I know where my mailing stands?
Every campaign shows a plain-English progress ladder: Queued → Printing → In the mail → Delivered. Addressed cards update as USPS scans them; Neighborhood cards finish at “In the mail” because USPS delivers to every home on a route without scanning individual unaddressed pieces. Problems are named honestly: Returned (bad address) or Didn't send, with the reason.
What happens to bad addresses on my list?
We verify every address with USPS before printing — typos get standardized and undeliverable addresses are flagged before they cost you a card. If something still comes back later, the piece shows as Returned so you can clean your list.
Tracking & results
How does response tracking work?
Every card prints your phone number and a QR code unique to that mailing. Scans count as responses on your Results page — by day and by campaign, so you can see exactly which card pulled. The QR opens your website or booking page; we don't track your customers beyond counting the scan.
What response rate should I expect?
We won't invent a number for you — it varies by business, offer, and area. Two honest rules: responses usually start 3–7 days after a mailing, and QR scans undercount total response (some people just call, or walk in). Direct mail rewards repetition — the second and third sends to the same area or list routinely beat the first.
Why do I see a count instead of a response rate?
Rates only appear once a campaign has at least 25 cards mailed. Below that, percentages mislead more than they inform (one scan on three cards is not a “33% response rate”), so we show honest counts instead.
Practical details
Who does the printing and mailing?
Our production network prints, addresses, and injects your cards directly into the USPS stream. You never handle stamps, permits, or post-office runs — that's the point.
Can I use my own mailing list from another tool?
Yes — export a CSV from anywhere (Square, QuickBooks, Shopify, a spreadsheet) and upload it as-is. We read the columns ourselves; no template required.
Is my customer data safe?
Your lists are used for one thing: printing your mail. We don't sell, share, or market to your customers. Details live in our Privacy Policy.
I found a mistake on a card I already sent — what now?
Mail is physical, so a sent card can't be recalled — but email support@stampsherpa.io right away and we'll do everything that can be done, from correcting the next send to making it right where we missed something on our side.
